Accelerating Science(Expired)

Image Gallery

After travelling throughout Europe, the Accelerating Science exhibit will soon be coming to Athens. The impressive interactive exhibit, which was created by CERN to draw people to the heart of the great experiment, will be hosted at the Eugenides Foundation.

The exhibit presents the great discoveries regarding the evolution of the universe, such as the Large Hadron Collider, the Big Bang, the Higgs Boson, the ATLAS CMS detector and the ALICE experiment, all in a format that is simple and comprehensible. Get a glimpse of what goes on at CERN’s underground facilities, the greatest research centre in the field of elementary particle physics, which continues to make tremendous contributions to science.

The exhibit takes us back in time through the history of the universe and the fundamental structure of matter, using touch screens, experiments and games to share with people of all ages the “unknown landscape” of the world of physics.
