Clytemnestra kills Agamemnon when he returns from deer hunting. Aegisthus is intent on spreading fear. Chrysothemis learns what Clytemnestra never will: the art of survival.

As for Orestes, he returns in order to put his words into action!

The scene is the House of Atreus, drenched in blood and haunted by an inescapable ‘deadly curse’.

In the play Electra, the Last Blood, staged at the Frynichou Street theatre, the characters become each other’s Erinyes (Furies), each of them forming a link in a chain of hatred, revenge and destruction. As the story progresses, the constantly changing roles and circumstances turn victimisers into victims.

The cycle of vengeance devolves into a vicious circle of bloodshed.
