Khalima (Expired)

Image Gallery

After “Vaftistikos”, another Operetta by Theophrastos Sakellaridis is staged by the National Opera Theater. This time, the Olympia Theatre will host the sounds of the East, seamlessly combined with belle-epoque sounds, like tango and fox-trot.

This Operetta might not tell the tales of Khalima from “A Thousand and One Nights”, but still conveys the allure of the East. The charming enchantress Khalima exploits the naïve cook of the palace, Ali-Mussaka, using him to play her love game with the imprisoned prince, Shakh-Rouman. Petros Zoulias is directing this Tale of the East.
