Honey pie

1 kg of ricotta cheese or mizithra
5 eggs
1 cup of honey
1 cup of sugar


Crumble the mizithra cheese.

In a blender, gradually combine the ricotta cheese with the eggs, honey and sugar.

Beat the mixture until smooth.

Grease a baking dish and sprinkle it with flour (the honey pie bakes into a thin sheet).

Pour the mixture into the pan and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180-200ο C for approximately one hour.

Just before removing the honey pie from the oven, sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar.

Leave the pie in the oven for 2-3 more minutes and then remove it.

Serve immediately.
