A relatively young town, Rafina was established by refugees fleeing Anatolia in 1920. It was one of the 100 ancient municipalities of Athens, then known by the name Arafin.

Today it’s one of the busiest ports in Attica, with traffic, rivalling Piraeus. Rafina is the perfect place to grab a bite after a quick swim and before taking off to the Cyclades.
