Beginning of “15-15”, Surprise yourself in Athens" events by Attica Region
Within the framework of the Athens - Attica 2007 tourism promotion season, Attica Region is, for the first time, organising a series of events, entitled “15-15, Surprise yourself in Athens”. The Attica Region will present, for one entire month, a series of cultural events, containing, among others, a wide variety of musical styles, including rock, electronic, hip-hop, electro rock, pop rock, alternative pop, guitars, ethnic, funk, reggae, jazz, blues, classic and Greek, as well as artist exhibitions and street performers.
With this festival, the Attica Region hopes to offer its citizens, and visitors of Attica, a unique and stimulating entertainment experience, presenting a wide variety of options for people of all ages to have fun and recreation within the region of Attica. To this end events have been planned all across Attica, including the airport, the harbour of Piraeus, the beach and pedestrian main street of Glyfada, the Old Parliament, Paleo Faliro, the National Library, the Zappeion, Sounion, Plaka, Syntagma square and the National Archaeological Museum.
The beginning of the "15-15, Surprise yourself in Athens" events is at 20:30 on May 15th 2007 in the National Archaeological Museum with a performance by the Kamerata (“Friends of Music” Orchestra).
